Pulse ("the App") is a time tracking application built by Aldero ("we", "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
Account data: If you sign in, we store your email address and authentication tokens to enable cloud sync.
Time tracking data: Tasks, time entries, tags, and goals you create. This data is stored locally on your device and, if you opt in to cloud sync, on our servers.
Device information: We collect anonymous device data (platform, app version, and aggregate usage counts) to help us improve the app. This data is not linked to your identity unless you sign in.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not serve ads.
Your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. If you enable cloud sync, data is stored in AWS DynamoDB with point-in-time recovery enabled. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
You can export all your data via CSV from the app settings. To request deletion of your cloud data, contact us at info@aldero.io.
Pulse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or on our website.
